The Arrangement

She smiled, happy tears flowing down her cheek. “When a reporter asked me where I see myself in the next five years before I met you, my life was a blank… it wasn’t my life… and now… I have everyone and everything I ever wanted in my life, and most importantly, your love and our children.”

“I love you, Niharika Mahendra Rayudu.”

“I love you, too, the father of my children. I’ll love you for the rest of my life, and that’s my side of the arrangement for setting your property on fire.”

“I’m good with that arrangement.” He smiled, his lips crashing into her mouth, hungrily.

She closed her eyes and moaned delicately when the hunger faded and deep desire drove his actions. She hugged him as he filled her, touching her heart and soul like he did every time they came together.

The Arrangement she made to escape her life became the lifeline to her happiness and their togetherness.
